Prahran Market is a hub for high quality produce of all sorts – but none more so than cheese. Say Cheese is the market’s biggest event of the year, a festival celebrating cheese in all its glory.

In 2019 Prahran Market engaged The Background to deliver event management services for Say Cheese, creating an event bigger and better than ever before. Working with market traders, food trucks and more, we created a deliciously cheesy food offering alongside bars and cheese & wine pairing workshops.

The result was over 37,000 attendees, enamoured by cheesy offerings – from wholesale cheese, to specialty menu items, to workshops and masterclasses.
