With increasingly discerning constituents, Councils need to create lifestyle experiences which engage audiences beyond the average community festival.
Receiving funding from Creative Victoria, Maribyrnong City Council appointed us Creative Directors of a new arts festival. The brief was to showcase the west’s talented and diverse arts community. Our response was to develop Due West: Immersive Arts Festival.
Creating the concept and brand, Due West: Immersive Arts Festival was born. We worked closely with the Council steering committee and local arts organisations and individuals to create an EOI process which helped us deliver a program truly representative of the community.
Responsible for the creation and delivery of the three-week festival our work involved creative direction, curation and programming, festival production, artist liaison, stakeholder communications, event management, marketing, branding and communications.
