How do you make a Food Truck Festival television news worthy? The answer: bring a whole lot of Mexican wrestlers, snake-handlers and ‘professional eaters’ to the table.
Velodrome Food Truck Festival was held over four days in 2017, delivering more than 30 food trucks and a series of rides and entertainment options. Capitalising with the eclectic entertainment options, we developed news stories that provided colour and movement across the Australia Day long weekend.
The campaign reached an estimated 20 million, achieving major television coverage on The Project, Studio 10 and Channel Nine News as well as widespread print and online coverage.
